GARDEN STATUE AND GARDEN FOUNTAIN CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL

Your Garden Statue or Fountain can be constructed of Polyresin or alabastrite. Both are durable, long lasting, easy to care for materials. Below is a brief explanation of each and their different properties.

Polyresin – polyresin is a form of resin that is very flexible when heated during the casting process. This makes it the material of choice when molds are used to create sculpted objects. The flexibility gives it the ability to duplicate intricate detail in the finished sculpture. Polyresin dries to a very durable material that is virtually unbreakable. Garden Statues and Garden Fountains made of Polyresin are very easy to maintain and because of their durability last a long time.

Alabastrite – Alabastrite is a popular form of Polyresin. This blend includes ground stone material that creates a durable, natural looking Garden Statue or Garden Fountain. Sculptures made of Alabastrite are long lasting and very easy to maintain.

Cherubs

Posted by thegardenstatue in New
Today we see Cherubs as plump, winged, children. Cherub is actually the plural of Cherubim. In the Jewish tradition they were often described as having four faces and four wings. They are said to be in the very presence of God. They are included among the Angels and in Hebrew Scriptures they are described as throne bearers of God. They are constant attendants to God and praise him continuously. They are said to dwell in a section of Heaven inaccessible to the Devil. They are members of the second order of Angels whose gift is knowledge. They are celestial beings that symbolize dignity, glory, and honor.
